Last week we got 10-12 inches of powder in the lower elevations and plenty more up in the trails!  Our trails are looking the best of the season with another snow shower last night and more for today! It appears as if heavy snow will start to affect our area in the early hours tomorrow morning. The snow will spread across the area and blanket us with 4-7 inches on Thursday. The system will depart fast over the Canadian Maritimes, however there is another system tracking right behind. Friday the potential for more heavy accumulations is expected across northern New York and the slopes of the Green Mountains, with the potential of 3-6 inches expected locally around Jay, Stowe, and Killington by Saturday Morning.

With the given forecast, Snowmobile Vermont’s Killington and Okemo locations expect to be in operation for daytime tours on Friday, with more terrain expected to become available as the weekend progresses….Please continue to monitor us here or on our Facebook as any updates will be posted immediately. Feel free to call us at 802-422-2121 for an up to the minute report on trail conditions.

PS. Stowe Snowmobile Tours is in full daytime operations. They have trips throughout the day from 9-5, in the back country of the Mount Mansfield State Forest. Call 802-253-6221 for more information.

The Mountain Tour location is only open in the evenings due to lack of natural snow.  We are able to offer tours in the evening because we can then run on man-made snow.  Once all of the skiers and snowboarders are off the mountain, we cruise the ski trails!  Please call ahead for reservations as these tours have limited availability.

Two Hour Back Country Tour

The 2 Hour Back Country Tour is on hold until we receive more snow.   Hopefully mother nature will give us what we need soon!
